How Does PTSO Benefit Highland Park Elementary?

HPE PTSO is made up of parents from our own school.  PTSO sponsors many of the activities at our school.  Through these activities, the Read-a-thon, restaurant nights, Carnival at the Park, and other fundraisers, we provide opportunities for everyone to volunteer and to raise funds for our school.  We’d like to tell you of just a few ways that your generosity to Highland Park is spent.  For complete details, you can visit our website at  This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. • We completely fund Art Masterpiece

Evening at the Arts

A BIG THANK YOU, to Pearl Elinski, for everything she has done for out school, and the Art Masterpiece program. She has brought our school up to a new level of enjoying and learning about the arts! We are looking forward to a great 2010-2011 school year.

Thanks to all those parents who helped make and serve almost 2000 sno-cones last year. Never fear!!! We will be back next year every Friday, for the first few months of school.

Restaurant Nights

A big thank you goes out to Andy Dyck who will coordinate all the restaurant nights for this year.  Last year we were able to bring in over $4000.00!

Box Tops for Education

Thanks to Shannon Wrigley and Tori Martin our Box Top Queens, over seeing the Box Top collection. We earned over $3500.00 a year. Don’t forget to save your box tops during the summer. And make sure you clip them nice and neat, we can’t send them in unless they are cut around the dotted line.
